Hey /r/digimon, one of my favorite subs on reddit! So I've been recieving lots and lots of requests for more digimon rom hacks and questions and concerns about the game now 3 years after it's release. Every time I get a message from someone about the game it really warms my heart!
I originally wanted to create Digimon Ruby, but college athletics is a huge time commitment and has not allowed me to do so. However, because of the feedback I've recieved I've decided to take a look at DF1.0 which you can read more about here:Digimon Firered circa 2014. And after some significant tweaks in leveling and difficulty I figured I'd rerelase it for those of you who may want to play/replay it.
Here's what I've decided to change: Originally, the gym leaders were equipped with quite high level digimon and the necessary grind to beat them was a HUGE turn off. I've made some adjustments to combat this issue: *EXP required to level has been reduced significantly *The Exp Share now acts as it does in later generations of Pokemon by giving every digimon exp after every battle. *Your starter digimon is holding an EXP share. *EXP given from certain pokemon were increased. *Wild digimon levels in some areas, caves etc. were increased to help with grinding.
But just to be safe, I also made the gym leaders, rival and crime boss significantly harder.

I also added 1 new digimon to the game: Magnadramon. Because she's awesome. Dragon/Normal and she packs a punch.
